My daughter, who has a significant anxiety disorder, has had a 504 plan but we believed there could be further underlying issues beyond the anxiety. Jen assisted us in determining what evaluations would be beneficial for our middle school daughter and supported us through the referral and evaluation process. She quickly understood her needs, strengths, and weaknesses as well as that of our family dynamics. Jen has proven to be knowledgeable, compassionate, and articulate in all of our meetings and encounters. When you have a child who does not feel 'smart' and lacks confidence in him or herself, it breaks your heart as a parent. You are desperate to somehow ease your child's pain. It was at this point in our own lives, that we met Jen Nucci. Our son was dyslexic and struggling in school, even though he was bright and hardworking. Jen exuded understanding, compassion and hope the minute she entered the room. She listened intently to all our worries as parents. She then met with our son and listened to him. Jen then brought in the appropriate team, and instructed them on exactly what our son needed to not only teach him how to learn strategies to overcome his dyslexia, but also to help our son regain his self -confidence.
